ITINERARY
DAY 1: ARRIVE LEVANTO
Arrive into Levanto where there is time to orientate the town centre and the main square - Piazza della Loggio. Spend the day at leisure and a brief on your walking adventure for the next days. You will then be transferred to the exceptionally-charming La Sosta di Ottone III, an intimate lodge with just 4 rooms. Located remotely perched in the hills and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and Levanto Valley, this is your home for the next few days where you will enjoy the company of Chef & Sommelier Luca Palmero Scatena who will present an array of authentic and exquisite cuisine.

DAY 2: LEVANTO
We begin our walking adventure with your local walking guide today heading west. Starting along the beach, our path takes us to the little seaside village of Bonassola where we stop to admire before continuing seaside hills towards the village of Framura, an aggregation of scattered hamlets on the hillside. From Costa, the biggest hamlet with great views over the sea, a steep descend brings us to Deiva Marina where the walk along the coast brings us to several charming little villages. Spend some time to relax and thereafter we return via train to Levanto before making our way back to La Sosta di Ottone III.

DAY 3: LEVANTO (RIOMAGGIORE TO VERNAZZA)
Take the train this morning to Riomaggiore - the most southerly of the Cinque Terre five villages where then you begin a "classical" walk along the famous Sentiero del'Amore (Lovers' Walk) to Manarola, an attractive little village with steep multi-coloured houses overlooking a rocky port. Then follow a beautiful trail through the hills to Corniglia, perched on a ridge overlooking the sea. From here, continue through terraced vineyards and citrus groves as you approach Vernazza, dominated by its old fortress. Spend some time admiring the most beautiful village of the Cinque Terre. Consider ascending the castle tower for a commanding view of the port with its brightly painted boats. We then take a boat return to the mainland before returning to Levanto.

DAY 4: LEVANTO (RIOMAGGIORE TO CAMPIGLIA & PORTOVENERE)
A third day of walking as we head east today. From Riomaggiore, we begin our walk to Campiglia and Portovenere. Hike up a long flight of stairs to the Santuario della Madonna di Montenero. Continuing uphill, you begin contouring along the coastal cliffs, through terraced vineyards, enjoying wonderful views of the coastline framed by clear blue waters. At the top of the "Sentiero Rosso", the ridge-top traverse that goes from one end of the Cinque Terre to the other, continue passing through the little hamlet of Campiglia where we stop for refreshments. Walking down into the pine forest, the track narrows as you continue towards Portovenere with spectacular views! Spend some time wandering around the nice village and Punta San Pietro before returning to Riomaggiore by boat where thereafter, you will be transferred back to La Sosta di Ottone III.

DAY 5: DEPART LEVANTO
Say farewell to the Cinque Terre for a mesmerizing adventure.
