ITINERARY
DAY 1: DELHI / JABALPUR / KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Transfer to Delhi Indira Gandhi Airport for your domestic flight to Jabalpur where on arrival, you will be met and continue on a journey to Kanha National Park (4hrs drive). Adorned with majestic forests, winding tracks encompassing the Banjar and Halon river valleys, Kanha National Park is home to some of the most amazing wildlife anywhere in the world. At the top of the food chain are the tigers, leopards and jackals, the undoubted stars of the area and prey which include 4 species of deers, antelopes, wild boars, buffaloes as well as the shaggy-looking sloth bears. We arrive into the stunning environments of Shergarh, with only 6 luxury tents as you embrace the richness of the wilderness. After some orientation, settle down as you are introduced to your hosts and enjoy dinner under the starlit skies.

DAY 2 - DAY 3: KANHA NATIONAL PARK
Prime tiger wilderness, Kanha National Park was one of the first areas to be protected under Project Tiger, aimed at preserving this magnificent animal, and remains a renowned conservation area. This picturesque reserve boasts the ideal habitat for both tigers and their prey species. Lush sal and bamboo forests are interspersed with vast grassy meadows known as maidans, while the Banjaar River, which forms the park’s south-western border, provides a steady water source for the abundant wildlife. A huge population of various deer and antelope, including the extremely rare barasingha, supports a large number of tiger, leopard, jackal and wild dog. Embark on morning & late afternoon game drives to fully experience the incredible wildlife here, capturing the stories of survival.

DAY 4: KANHA NATIONAL PARK / BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, we bid farewell to your hosts at Shergarh journeying north to the Bandhavgarh National Park, an essential stop on any serious tiger safari, renowned for its population of tigers. A relatively small park with thriving wildlife, it offers guests a good chance of encountering the magnificent tiger, as well as other fauna like gaur (which was brought back from temporary localised extinction by the Forest Field Department, by relocating new stock from a neighboring park), jackals, leopards and other smaller cats. Cradled between the picturesque Vindhya and Satpura mountain ranges, Bandhavgarh boasts a breath-taking mixture of dense green valleys and rocky hills. Mixed deciduous forests and woodlands are interspersed with flat grasslands and serene waterholes – a beautiful setting for exciting safaris! We will arrive and check in at the stunning Mahua Kothi Jungle Lodge where you will be warmly-received and given an orientation of what to expect for the next 2 days.

DAY 5 - DAY 6: BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK
Spend the next extraordinary days in search of the tigers and other fascinating wildlife, observing their behavior, learn about their habitats and discover something new each day in India's Eden of the wild. Make new friends in camp and share stories over dinner about the day's sightings.

DAY 7: BANDHAVGARH NATIONAL PARK / JABALPUR / DELHI
Following a morning game drive and breakfast and unforgettable memories, we transfer to Jabalpur Airport for your return domestic flight to Delhi for your onward journey or continue your adventures in incredible India.
